What is low self-esteem?
Low self-esteem can be defined by the lack of confidence and believe in yourself.
You probably will feel bad about yourself. You probably don’t believe in yourself. You probably think that everyone is better than you. You probably feel that you can’t be loved. You probably feel incompetent. You probably feel like an outcast.
Believing in oneself and building self-esteem is key in your life. How can the lack of confidence affect your life?
There are many opportunities in life that we sometimes miss. Situations that we wish we could do better. Sometimes out of fear, sometimes because we are not confident enough.
An athlete must have confidence in oneself and his own abilities as if he doubts himself he will fail. This can be transposed into life.
When you have a lack of confidence or low self-esteem do you tell yourself this:
- I wish I have applied for that job…
- I wish I talked with that person…
- I wish I stood my ground
- I am not worthy
- I wish I trusted myself more
I am aware that there are a lot of wishes, so when you build self-esteem you will stop wishing and start doing.
